Technical Purchasing Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Purchasing Engineer who can take responsibility and meet the following criteria in our company, which develops both line-of-sight and beyond line-of-sight radio frequency communication systems for leading unmanned aerial vehicles on both local and global scales.

Working location: Teknopark İstanbul/Pendik

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management or a similar field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Technical Purchasing or in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiation experience with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and ERP systems.
  • Team player with the ability to contribute to the team’s performance development.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
  • Consulting with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
  • Requesting quotations and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
  • Monitoring industry trends using supplier data and best practices to identify and mitigate supply risks while leveraging emerging opportunities.
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
  • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items to address any shortcomings.
  • Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
  • Continuously contributing to improving the productivity and efficiency of sourcing processes.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining precise inventory and procurement records.
  • Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
